We meet Sundays for The 9.30am service and The TEN45 at the Emmanuel church building and we would LOVE to welcome you!

Here’s what you can expect

We hope you’ll find the environment and welcome at Emmanuel familiar. But we know that coming to a church for the first time can be a little intimidating for some and raise questions for others. We want to make your first experience of Emmanuel a great one and leave you feeling like you’ve found a place to belong! So, here are a few details you might find helpful to know.

How long is it?

The 9.30am service is around 45 minutes and the TEN45 service is just over an hour (because that includes toast!) Both services begin with a welcome and an opportunity to share some brief announcements what is going on in the life of Emmanuel and the family of churches we belong too (The Parish of Radipole & Melcombe Regis). There will be songs led by one of the music groups which you can sing along and engage in however you feel most comfortable. There will be some prayers, a reading from the Bible, and then an opportunity to hear an encouraging, relevant, and hope-filled talk about what it is to be someone who follows Jesus.

What’s it like?

We like to think that Emmanuel is an informal, relaxed, and friendly place to be. If you join us in person, you can expect a warm welcome when you arrive. Whatever your story, whatever your background, we want you to know that you are welcome, you are loved, and you belong.

What about my children?

Most families find a place in The 1045 service, where we enjoy worship together whatever age or stage of life we are at. Children are welcome whatever age they may be, and are welcome to engage as they want.
